Featuring motors the Enyaq iV 80x delivers a combined power output of 265 hp. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. With its all-wheel drive capability, it offers both performance and efficiency to meet the demands of drivers. Volkswagen also has plans to introduce EVs in India. It has been seen testing the ID.4 SUV.
Skoda’s New Sub-4-Meter SUV
In addition to their offerings, Skoda is working on developing a compact SUV under four meters in length to compete with popular models like Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet, in the traditional internal combustion engine segment. Skoda is determined to maintain pricing by prioritizing achieving a localization level of 90%. The production of the SUV is scheduled to start in January 2025. Potential powertrain options may consist of the current 1.0 liter TSI and the 1.5-liter TSI turbo petrol engines.
