Vivo recently introduced the Y200 5G model in India in October 2023, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. Recent indications suggest that Vivo is working on a variant called the Vivo Y200e.
This new model has emerged in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, indicating a release in the country. The Vivo Y200e is expected to position itself below the Y200 5G model.
The Upcoming Vivo Y200e
The BIS certification for the Vivo Y200e discovered by MySmartPrice reveals its model number as V2336. Although detailed specifications are not disclosed in the certification various listings from Bluetooth SIG, Geekbench and Google Play Console have provided some insights.
Based on Geekbench V4.0 listing results, the Vivo Y200e with model number V2336 achieved a single-core score of 3,115 and a multi-core score of 8,122. The listing also confirms that the device will run on Android 14 and offer 8GB of RAM. Additionally, information from the motherboard section suggests that this phone could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The Bluetooth SIG listing indicates Bluetooth version as 5.0 for connectivity on the device.
The Google Play Console listing for the Vivo Y200e with model number V2337 does not confirm its marketing name. Also provides additional specifications. The listing displays a punch hole cutout, at the center of the selfie camera, and, on the edge you can find the volume rocker and power buttons. At the back of the phone, there are three camera sensors arranged vertically along with an LED flash.
The Google Play Console listing also indicates that the Vivo Y200e will offer 8GB of RAM, run on Android 14 OS, and feature an FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The phone is expected to house an Adreno 613 GPU, indicating a possible use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. With these multiple listings, it appears that the launch of the Vivo Y200e is imminent.
