Redmi Smart Projector Lite Receives Bluetooth SIG Certification, Anticipation Grows

Redmi has been creating a buzz in the home entertainment industry with its line of projectors. The latest addition, to their lineup, is the Redmi Smart Projector Lite, which recently obtained Bluetooth SIG certification. Although detailed specifications and pricing have yet to be unveiled it is anticipated that this projector will inherit some features from its predecessors, the Redmi Projector 2 and 2 Pro.

The Redmi Projector 2 sets a benchmark for the Smart Projector Lite with its impressive specs. It boasts a brightness of up to 180 ANSI lumens, delivering a 1080P resolution. With a projection ratio of 1:2:1 and support for screens up to 100 inches in size it offers versatility for settings ranging from rooms to larger spaces. The inclusion of built-in speakers and WANOS China Atmos virtual sound field encoding technology enhances the experience by creating an immersive environment.

One notable feature of the Redmi Smart Projector 2 is its in-house developed correction AI algorithm that ensures focus and zoom adjustments upon startup. Additionally, the sealed custom optical engine and definition ultra transparent lens contribute to an extended lifespan of up to 10 years. Connectivity options are comprehensive including Bluetooth compatibility along with HDMI ARC and USB 2.0 ports, enabling integration, with devices.

The projector comes in two color choices; sand. Taking it a step further the Redmi Smart Projector 2 Pro sets a standard with a sealed self-polishing mechanism resulting in a 50% boost, in light efficiency utilization, for even greater brightness. Certified by SGS, the Pro model boasts up to 300 ANSI lumens of brightness, maintaining the 1080P resolution and 1.2:1 throw ratio.

In terms of design, the Projector 2 Pro features a sturdy metal front case and a customized aspherical lens for improved image clarity. The addition of a professionally customized TOF laser sensing module and AI intelligent algorithm enables swift and precise image adjustments. The six-axis gyroscope ensures automatic correction without the need for manual adjustments.

Connectivity options for the Pro model include USB, HDMI, and Audio jack ports, providing versatility in connecting to a variety of devices. The projector is powered by the Amlogic T950D4 chip and offers 1.5GB+32GB storage specifications. With dual built-in speakers and WANOS China Atmos virtual sound field encoding technology, audio quality is elevated. It also boasts IP5X Protection and is available in a sleek black color.

Both projectors run on the MIUI TV smart system and support the Mijia APP, offering a user-friendly interface and additional functionalities. While the Redmi Smart Projector Lite’s specifications and pricing are yet to be disclosed, the Redmi Projector 2 is currently available for 1299 yuan (₹14,775 approx.) and the Redmi Projector 2 Pro is priced at 1699 yuan (₹19,325 approx.).
