Asus is reportedly in the process of developing its next-generation Zenfone smartphone, likely to be named the Zenfone 11, succeeding the Zenfone 10 launched in June last year. Previous identifications from the Bluetooth SIG and SDPPI certification sites have hinted at this upcoming product. Recently, the Zenfone 11 has surfaced on the Google Play Console, revealing intriguing details about its design and specifications.
The Leaked Asus Zenfone 11
The Google Play Console certification page confirms the model number ASUS_AI2401 for the Asus Zenfone 11, corroborating the phone’s name. The render provided in the listing showcases the smartphone featuring a punch-hole cutout positioned centrally amidst narrow bezels, with volume and power rocker keys located on the right edge.
As per the listing, the Asus Zenfone 11 is said to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, specifically the QTI SM8650. The CPU arrangement is reported to include a single Kyro 9xx core running at 3.30GHz, five Kyro 9xx cores operating at 3.2GHz, and two Kyro 9xx cores functioning at 2.3GHz, along with an Adreno 830 GPU for onboard graphics.
However, there seems to be some discrepancy regarding the GPU, as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 typically integrates the Adreno 750, raising questions about the accuracy of the Asus Zenfone 11’s processing specifications. The device is listed to feature a display resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a screen density of 420 dpi, running on Android 14 out-of-the-box, with 16GB of RAM available.
If Asus follows its usual release timeline, the ZenFone 11 series may not be available until the summer, considering the ZenFone 10’s release in June. However, there’s a possibility that they could debut earlier than expected, potentially arriving a few months ahead of schedule.
