Adidas have officially unveiled the new Euro 2024 ball, given the name “Fußballleibe” meaning “Football love” or “love for football” when translated to English. The ball panels are similar in design to Al Rihla, which was used at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The new ball will also have the built-in Connected Ball Technology which will allow VAR to make more accurate decisions. Moreover, its outer shell also features the CTR-CORE technology, allowing swift movement and optimal air retention.

The several colours used in the design showcase inclusivity and create a welcoming environment for diversity. They feature the colours of the German national flag predominantly, accented with green and blue.
Illustrations of the various host cities and stadiums are also seen in detail throughout the ball.
Adidas have confirmed that the ball will retail for €150/$165, but will not be with the Connected Ball Technology. On the other hand, one percent of sales proceeds will go to Common Goal – a charitable organisation formed by Juan Mata and streetfootballworld that helps high-impact football charities across the world.
UEFA has also confirmed that the match ball will be used for the entirety of the tournament, with no special ball hinted at for the knockout stages.
