The draw for the quarter finals of the 2023 Carabao Cup has been made, with Chelsea set to host Newcastle United in the most eye-catching fixture. Liverpool will play West Ham for a spot in the last four as well, with the heavyweights pitted against each other as the competition nears its business end.
All the four quarter final matches will be played on December 20, 1:15AM IST.

Predictions for semifinal
Middlesbrough are expected to get the upper hand over League One club Port Value, who have had a great run thus far. But, it is anybody’s guess as to who wins the other three quarter finals.
Although Chelsea have not had the best form in the Premier League recently, they have been winning in the EFL Cup, overcoming Brighton to make it to the Round of 16. Newcastle United have had an inconsistent season, with the added pressure of competing in the Champions League.
But, they demolished Manchester United by handing them a 3-0 loss at Old Trafford to knock them out of the competition. And as a result, they go in with the upper hand.
And after knocking out Arsenal, West Ham United could upset Liverpool in the competition too, after they narrowly escaped a tricky fight against Bournemouth.
Fulham will be favourites to qualify for the semifinals of the Carabao Cup against Everton, owing to their impressive form. But, the magic of the cup could produce yet another shocking result if Everton can overcome the Cottagers.
