The forthcoming Vivo X100 series appears to be a robust and feature-rich lineup of smartphones. This rumored series comprises three models: the Vivo X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro+. While the first two models have been the subjects of various reports and leaks, unveiling important details, it is now time to focus on the Vivo X100 Pro+. This latest leak has brought to light crucial specifications and a schematic design.
The Upcoming Vivo X100 Pro+ Features and Specs
Starting with the leaked schematic design of the Vivo X100 Pro+, it provides a glimpse of the smartphone’s potential appearance. The design indicates that the alleged smartphone will feature a punch-hole display with minimal bezels. On the rear panel, there is a prominent circular camera module housing four camera sensors. The inclusion of T* Zeiss branding in this module confirms the ongoing collaboration between the two brands.
In terms of specifications, the Vivo X100 Pro+ is rumored to boast a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, potentially making it one of the first smartphones to offer LPDDR5T RAM. Furthermore, the device is expected to come with UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring faster data read and write speeds.
However, it is the camera system that is bound to capture everyone’s attention. The X100 Pro+ is reported to sport a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait sensor, and a groundbreaking 200MP Samsung HP3 telephoto periscope sensor capable of 10x zoom. The latter appears to be a practical application of a concept recently discussed by Samsung.
The leak does not provide details about the front camera. The smartphone is said to be equipped with a 5,400mAh battery, offering the convenience of 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging support. It is also expected to feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, as well as an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
According to rumors, the Vivo X100 series is set to launch in China in November, with November 17 as the anticipated date for the official unveiling. A global release is expected to follow, though an exact date has not been specified. Likewise, pricing details for these three smartphones remain undisclosed.
