On the Chinese social media network Weibo, an image purportedly depicting the package for a new unreleased MacBook Pro has surfaced. The image, which ShrimpApplePro re-shared on X, appears to be Apple packaging showcasing a MacBook Pro image with previously unseen wallpaper on the display. The wallpaper is similar to the one used by Apple for the iPhone 15 Pro.
Apple’s upcoming “Scary Fast” event on October 30 will center on the M3 series MacBook Pro models
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple has been testing M3 Max and M3 Pro MacBook Pro models, implying that these computers may be upgraded.
Gurman recently stated that Apple will not replace the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M3 Pro and M3 Max CPUs until early 2024, so his forecasts appear to have changed. Apple has included the happy Finder icon in its promotional graphics for the event on its website, thus confirming that Macs are the center of the event.
Another sign that new MacBook Pro models are on the way is Apple’s adoption of the phrase “Scary Fast”: When Apple released the first silicon-based 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models in October 2021, the M1 Pro was marketed as “Scary Fast” and the M1 Max as “Scary Faster.”
According to the source, there are significant signs that Apple will debut M3-powered smartphones at its next October event. Furthermore, reports claim that the long-awaited 24-inch iMac may make an appearance, as it has been in development for quite some time.
According to recent media sources, Apple may be increasing its iPad portfolio, with announcements likely on October 17. That expectation, however, did not come true. Instead, Apple introduced a less expensive option to the Apple Pencil 2nd Generation.
