The air quality index (AQI) is now displayed by Google in the Discover feed on Android and iOS devices, providing consumers with up-to-date information on the local air quality. The AQI card will be added to the current selection of mini-cards that provide information on sports, weather, and the financial markets.
Despite being widely introduced on both platforms now after being initially removed in August, the feature is still not available on Android tablets or the Pixel Fold, according to 9to5Google.

Google Discover in the app and to the left of your home screen seems to be transitioning to a full-width weather card as part of the addition of air quality. You get the condition and possibility of precipitation, but it is otherwise mostly unaltered from the tiny edition.
