Gionee K3 Pro launched in China recently. After so many days, finally we have some launch news about Gionee. If we check the market of Gionee in India two or three years back, it was quite good. But after that Gionee lost its path in Indian Market.
Now in the year of 2020, China has quietly launched Gionee K3 Pro. Don’t know what is more weird we can tell about this phone. It has weird fingerprint sensor placement and still using Android 9 Pie when most of the other new launched smartphones are running on Android 10 or Android 11 Beta version is already in some flagship smartphones. But, Gionee K3 Pro will still run on Pie for some official reasons which are still unknown.
In the case of the fingerprint sensor, it is not that old rear type, not the in-display fingerprint, not the side-mounted too. So, where is the sensor? Its fingerprint sensor is with the triple rear camera. If you see, then you can notice that the fingerprint sensor is placed inside the square-shaped camera module placed on the top left corner of the back panel. It is such a weird position. isn’t it?
K3 Pro is powered by the 12nm based 2 GHz Helio P60 processor (MT6771) SoC. So, along with the Android version, the processor is also not up to the mark. Regarding its other features, K3 Pro has a 6.53-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Screen to body ratio is decent, which is 90%, and 234 PPI pixel density. This smartphone has two variants of 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM, 128 GB storage.
Camera is not that quite good, if we compare it to recent mid-range phones from other companies. It has a triple rear camera with a 16-megapixel f/2.0 main camera. Specification of the other two cameras is still unknown. In the case of front camera, it has a 13-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
It has a quite decent battery of 4,000 mAH. It is not sure what type of charger Gionee will provide (fast charger or normal). Apart from these, K3 Pro supports 3.5 mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. This phone is not that much light also. It has a dimension of 164.3×77.6×9.7 mm and it weighs 205 grams. The Gionee K3 Pro is priced at RMB 699 (around Rs 7,500 for 6GB + 128GB) and RMB 799 (around Rs 8,600 for 8GB + 128GB).
