The launch date for the Vivo T2 Pro 5G in India has been officially confirmed by the Chinese company. The new smartphone, closely related to the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G models introduced in India earlier this year, will make its debut next week. Vivo has also released images of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G, showcasing its curved display in a golden hue, featuring a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout on the screen. The Vivo T2 Pro 5G will be available for purchase through Flipkart.
The India launch event for the Vivo T2 Pro 5G is scheduled for September 22 at 12:00 PM, as announced by the company through a press invitation. Flipkart has also prepared a dedicated webpage on its platform to build excitement for the launch.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G Expected Pricing and Specs
While the official pricing details for the Vivo T2 Pro 5G in India have not been disclosed yet, there is speculation that it will be priced at around ₹23,999. This expected pricing aligns with that of the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G, which was unveiled last month with price tags of ₹21,999 and ₹22,999 for the 128GB and 256GB variants, respectively.
The Vivo T2 Pro 5G is anticipated to be an upgraded version of the existing Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G models. In India, the Vivo T2 5G starts at ₹18,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the Vivo T2x 5G is priced at ₹12,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model.
The upcoming Vivo T2-series smartphone is rumored to feature a high refresh rate display with a 1200Hz touch sampling rate. It is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC and may be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configurations, with support for fast charging. Additionally, it is reported to boast a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 4K video recording capabilities. The device is going to be slim with a thickness of 7.4mm only.
