The film was directed by Mukesh Singh and written by Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Burra Sai Madhav, and Thota Prasad. Kannappa will be bent under the banner of Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory.

Prabhas has some exciting developments in the pipeline. The actor will be seen in Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire. KGF director Prashanth Neel directs the picture and promises to be high on action. The film is rumored to be a part of Yash’s KGF, but the manufacturers have not confirmed or denied it. Previously, Salaar was supposed to be released this month on the 28th, but unfortunately, it got deferred. The Prabhas starrer film will now be released in November 2023. Apart from Salaar, Prabhas will also be seen in Kalki 2898 AD. He will share the screen through Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and more.
As per reports, for Kannappa, Prabhas is customary to team up with Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon. Recently, a Puja ritual was also held to mark the new beginnings. The film has been directed by Mukesh Singh and written by Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Burra Sai Madhav, and Thota Prasad.
Meanwhile, Prabhas also has Salaar in the pipeline, which will star Prithviraj Sukumaran, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Shruti Haasan. The actor likewise has magnum opus 2898D in his pipeline – the Nag Ashwin administrative also features Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Dulquer Salmaan, and Disha Patani in prominent roles.
