Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: Unveiling the Massive 2TB Storage Capacity

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 series is poised to become the company’s latest flagship smartphone lineup. Although the official launch is still months away, a slew of leaks have already surfaced regarding the highly anticipated Samsung flagships. The most recent leak provides insights into the storage choices for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which holds the top-tier position within the series. Additionally, there’s information circulating about the chipset that will power the Galaxy S24, and unfortunately, this piece of news might not sit well with some.

Reports indicate that Samsung is preparing to enhance the storage capacity of the Ultra variant to a whopping 2TB. As per insider information from Tech_Reve, it has been verified that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will indeed feature 2TB of storage space. Although the RAM capacity for this particular variant remains undisclosed, the source does disclose that there will be other versions, including one equipped with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

While there’s also a chance of an 8GB + 128GB variant for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, skeptics point out that this scenario seems improbable, especially since the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s baseline configuration begins at 8GB + 256GB. Given that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will claim the top-tier spot in Samsung’s flagship lineup, the potential inclusion of a 2TB variant aligns with expectations. However, the full details are likely to emerge as the launch date approaches.

In a surprising move, Samsung exclusively employed Snapdragon chipsets for its Galaxy S23 series, ensuring that each market received models powered solely by Snapdragon processors. This decision marked a departure from the ongoing debate about the perceived weaker performance of Exynos chipsets. Yet, Samsung’s stance might change with the forthcoming Galaxy S24 series, which is anticipated to introduce the Exynos 2400 chipset.

Sources suggest that Samsung is gearing up to unveil its in-house Exynos 2400 chipset in the fourth quarter of this year, as projected by TrendForce. This chipset is expected to make its debut alongside the Galaxy S24 series; however, its availability might be initially limited. If this prediction holds true, it implies that Samsung is likely to offer both Exynos and Snapdragon models within the Galaxy S24 series, catering to different markets and customer preferences.
