Willian had already officially announced that he will be leaving Chelsea this summer after he decided not to extend his contract with Chelsea.
The 32-year-old joined Chelsea from Anzhi Makhachkala for £30m in 2013. In these seven seasons at Chelsea, he has been a very important player. He has helped the club to win 2 Premier League titles and 1 Europa League trophy.
Willian has now joined Arsenal on a free transfer for three years. The Brazilian will now wear the No 12 shirt at the Emirates.

Willian scored nine goals and provided seven assists for his teammates during his 36 appearances in the Premier League this season.

“I believe he’s a player that can really make a difference for us. We have been monitoring him for the past few months, we had a clear intention to strengthen in the attacking midfielder and the winger positions [and] he is a player that gives us a lot of versatility, he can play in three or four different positions.”
