Booking of Gadar 2
As per the latest explanations, the film has made remarkable business at the cinema complex, selling over 76,600 tickets so far. While the PVR chain partakes sold 33000 tickets for the opening day of Gadar 2, popular picture chains like INOX and Cinepolis have sold 25,500 and 18,100 tickets in loan booking. This figure, however, still pales when compared to 4 lakh tickets sold for Pathaan in early payment booking earlier this year.
Earlier in the day, picture trade insider Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Gadar2 booking standing at *national chains*… Note: DAY 1 biz… #PVR: 33,000 #INOX: 25,500 #Cinepolis: 18,100 Total: 76,600 tickets traded bookings is extraordinary in mass circuits and single screen belongings… All set for a massive Day 1.”
The booking of Gadar 2 is healthier than Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju, which recorded a sale of 72K tickets earlier than the release. Wednesday and Thursday will be crucial as they will regulate how well Gardar 2 will be through its Friday release.
Gadar 2 is directed by Anil Sharma, who also led the original. In the film, Utkarsh Sharma played the role of Sunny, an addition to Ameesha’s son. The sequel is set in 1971, about 17 years after the actions of Gadar.
The trailer of the flick was recently unveiled on social media. The three-minute-long trailer included Tara Singh and Sakeena’s legacy, set amidst the tumultuous Crush India Movement of 1971. In the trailer, Tara Singh voyaged to Pakistan to save his son, Charan Jeet Singh (amuse yourself by Utkrash Sharma) from the Pakistani Army. The film is touted to be heavy on duologues and fight scenes.
On the other hand, the trailer release of Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam-starrer OMG 2′ was delayed because of the censor credential controversy. The Censor board took time to grant the film a diploma owing to the sensitive nature of the film’s plot. Ultimately, the film was given A certificate with as many as 20 cuts and modifications needed by the board. Akshay Kumar’s character of Lord Shiva differed from God’s messenger. The film, set in Ujjain, was changed to show that it was established in an imagined town.
