The committee also discussed the sanctions to be imposed on the ISL clubs that had B criteria failures. These clubs include Mumbai City FC, Jamshedpur FC, Bengaluru FC, ATK Mohun Bagan, Bengaluru FC and FC Goa.
Exemptions have been granted to nine clubs out of the ten applicants, with Rajasthan United as the exemption. They have failed to submit the name of the stadium that they will be playing out of in the coming season. And as a result, the committee has been unable to grant them the exemption request. After they have submitted the stadium name, the board will take a final decision on their exemption request.
The committee has imposed a slew of financial restrictions on the clubs that have asked for exemptions, with more details to follow.
