Juventus transfer news: The 2022/23 season saw the Bianconeri miss out on Champions League football, but make it to the Europa Conference League due to their 10-point deduction. They have decided to continue with Max Allegri on the back of a positive turnaround after their Champions League exit this past season. And now, the focus will be on restructuring their team for the coming season.
Here is the latest Juventus transfer news for you to stay updated.
Juventus transfer news: Arkadiusz Milik joins permanently
Marseille and Juventus have reached an agreement over the permanent transfer of Arkadiusz Milik. The striker’s €7 million buy option was not activated, and the two clubs have instead negotiated a new structure for the deal for €6 million plus €1 million in add-ons. This past season, Milik scored 7 goals and provided one assist in 27 Serie A games, and will be expected to deliver just as well in the coming season.
Juventus transfer news: Timothy Weah to sign from Lille
Juventus and Lille have agreed a deal worth €12 million for the transfer of Timothy Weah. The player has accepted a five-year deal, and is all set to play in the Serie A. The USMNT international is the replacement for Juan Cuadrado, who left as a free agent. He plays out on the right and can work as a full-back as well as a winger and is expected to work very well in the system that Max Allegri is currently using.
An official announcement is imminent after the two clubs reached a full agreement over the terms of the deal.
Juventus transfer news: Timothy Castagne talks ongoing
Following the departure of Juan Cuadrado and Leicester City’s relegation, Timothy Castagne is being linked as a new signing for the club. The Foxes want around €15 million to part ways with Castagne, and Arsenal are also keeping tabs on the situation.
Juventus had also expressed interest in signing Lucas Vazquez from Real Madrid, but it seems that he will not be available for transfer as the club wants to keep him for the upcoming season.
Castagne is keen on the transfer to Turin and wants it to happen. The major challenge for the time being is for the Bianconeri to agree terms with Leicester for the move.
Juventus transfer news: Adrien Rabiot renews contract until 2024
Juventus have officially renewed the contract of Adrien Rabiot until 2024. The player has considered several options as his previous deal was set to expire at the end of the month. However, instead of walking away as a free agent he has decided to stay with the Bianconeri as theirs was the best proposal on the table.
In addition, the player wants to play and train under Max Allegri following a remarkable 2022/23 season. And for the coming season, he will still be a Juventus player.
Juventus transfer news: Max Allegri to stay for coming season
In spite of interest from Al Hilal to recruit Max Allegri as their new manager, the Italian will be staying at Juventus for the coming season. The manager was made a huge offer worth €20 million per season until 2025. But, he has turned down the verbal proposal in favour of a stay in Turin as he is focused on the project he is currently a part of.
Juventus transfer news: Loan-return midfielders to be offloaded
The likes of Denis Zakaria, Weston McKennie and Arthur, all of whom spent the season away on loan, will be offloaded permanently this summer by Juventus. The trio is not a part of the club’s plans for the coming seasons, and permanent suitors are yet to submit their offers to sign these players.
Juventus transfer news: Vlahovic to leave this summer?
Chelsea and Bayern Munich are among the two clubs most interested in signing Dusan Vlahovic this summer. The Serbian has not been able to fully replicate the form he showed at Fiorentina, and part of it is down to the tactics used by Max Allegri.
Juventus are expected to ask for a high transfer fee, close to the €70 million they signed him for. And so far, no clubs have made a formal offer to sign the forward.
Juventus transfer news: Juan Cuadrado and Alex Sandro to leave
The board has decided not to continue with full-backs Juan Cuadrado and Alex Sandro, in spite of rumours suggesting that they could be offered renewals. The pair will now be allowed to sign for new clubs as free agents, with their contracts now expired.
Cuadrado has attracted interest from Saudi Arabia for a transfer, but hasn’t accepted their proposal as of yet.
