Ibrahimovic bades AC Milan goodbye without being able to play but has no retirement plans

Zlatan Ibrahimovic concludes his second phase with AC Milan. He will play his final game for the club at the Stadio San Siro on Sunday, three years after returning to the club after a tenure with LA Galaxy.

Ibrahimovic is set to leave AC Milan; their last game is on Sunday

The match on Sunday is up against Hellas Verona; Ibrahimovic will mostly receive applause from the San Siro fans. There’s nothing in danger for the home team as they have already qualified for the next Champions League. However, the 41-year old Swedish player will be unable to play, as his injury has kept him off the field since the April end.

The veteran has been able to appear in just four games this season but is not thinking about retirement right now. In his interview with the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ibrahimovic said,

“I think I still have things to give, and I do not think about quitting. I think I have to keep playing, but I have to find a balance, as in life. Without balance and stability, you are a bomb…and bombs explode.”

What else did the Swedish star say?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has shut down the rumors about his retirement. He also said in an interview,

“I have put myself a lot in recent years, but my head is very strong. I feel like Superman every time I play.”

He does not have any idea about continuing at the historic Italian club but is even willing to continue with AC Milan. He said,

“Milan is my home, but I don’t know anything about my contact. I just need to know that I’m a Milan player, then I know what I have to do.”
