The Elevate SUV will make its premiere in India on June 6. Many test mules have been discovered in Japan, and Honda has even registered the name Elevate as a trademark there. Honda already sells a small SUV in Japan by the name of HR-V / Vezel. What sets Elevate apart from HR-V? Elevate and HR-V (Vezel), as shown in recent spy photos from Japan, are side by side. Furthermore, Elevate has a huge (relatively) size advantage.

All About the Spied Honda Elevate!

A compact SUV with these measurements is the Honda HR-V (also called the Vezel in Japan), which measures 1790 mm in width, 4340 mm in length, and 1582 mm in height. The camouflaged Elevate is obviously wider and much taller in the surveillance photo from Japan, which makes this plain. From the pictures, it appears that the Honda Elevate will be close to 4.4m long, 1820 to 1850 mm wide, and about 1650 mm tall. In comparison to Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate is going to be bigger in overall dimensions. Honda’s greatest advantage in the compact SUV segment is probably size.

A single-pane sunroof has been verified by both Honda and Elevate. At this time, competitors including the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, and the impending Kia Seltos facelift are all offering panoramic sunroofs. Even HR-V (Vezel), its own sibling, receives one.

Honda’s Elevate launch is significant, so choosing the proper approach is crucial. It is anticipated that the Honda Elevate’s strengths to be City’s 8″ touchscreen interface, identical dashboard design, steering wheel, and camera-based Sensing ADAS package. A 1.5L 4-cylinder NA petrol engine producing 119 bhp and 149 Nm will power it. The CVT and 6MT gearbox options are available. Honda will also release a potent e:HEV hybrid model. There won’t be a diesel alternative available.
