Nothing Phone (2) Confirmed on Geekbench: Set to Launch Soon

Later this year, there will be a launch party for the Nothing Phone (2). Later this year, the company will introduce its second smartphone, according to the company. The launch date for the Phone (2) should be revealed soon. Nothing indicated that the Phone (2) would be released in the summer of 2023 at the time the launch was just confirmed. The device will probably be released by the corporation between June and August.

However, everyone now is aware of the Phone (2)’s performance unit specifics owing to a Geekbench listing. The device is powered by a Snapdragon CPU with the codename Taro, according to the Geekbench listing. This basically refers to the 3.0GHz-capable Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which bears this codename. The SoC contains four efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz and three performance cores running at 2.5GHz.

The model of the Nothing smartphone that Geekbench lists has 12GB of RAM. We may anticipate that the phone will come with 8 GB of RAM as well. In different markets, it’s likely to debut with 128GB and 256GB of storage. In the single-core and multi-core testing on Geekbench, The Phone (2) received scores of 1253 and 3833. Additionally, Android 13 was seen running on Geekbench. On top of Android, the gadget is believed to use Nothing OS 1.5.
