Real Madrid have agreed personal terms with Jude Bellingham over a contract at the club, and are now advancing in negotiations with Borussia Dortmund. They are respecting the club’s title challenge and are not going to make any announcement until the season is over.
However, a meeting can be expected between the two in May in order to discuss the details of the move. The rumoured transfer fee is in the region of €120-130 million, which will include add-ons. The structure of the deal will be key to get it over the line.
Jude Bellingham agrees personal terms over Real Madrid move
Several Premier League clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool were keen on the Dortmund starlet. However, it seems like he has been convinced by the 14-time Champions League winners and the project that they are building for the future.
Dortmund tried extending the player’s contract in order to keep him for some more time. But it was rejected, in favour of sealing a transfer away this summer. And Madrid seems to be where the teenager has set his eyes on.
Alongside Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni, Jude Bellingham will be in a squad featuring some of the best midfield names in the world. And given that they are all very young, they could dominate European football for the next generation, rightfully taking over from Kroos and Modric.
