Noctua has updated its product roadmap for 2023 and 2024, including substantial releases to match with next-generation AMD Threadripper CPUs, as well as new coolers and fans. The latest material from Noctua is thought to be in preparation for announcements that will be made soon at Computex 2023, which begins at the end of this month.
According to the roadmap, the 8-way fan hub, which was supposed to debut in the first quarter of this year, was delayed slightly but was delivered this week in the shape of the NA-FH1, which enables 8-channel PWM. Everything else is recommended in order to stay on track with new coolers.
The first significant release from Noctua is scheduled in Q3 2023, with the launch of AMD’s brand new Ryzen Threadripper 7000 range, codenamed Storm Peak.
CPUs are likely to use either the SP6 or SP5 socket. While SP6 is identical to SP3, the newer SP5 socket supports much larger processors and will necessitate new coolers.
The fourth quarter from Noctua will see the arrival of additional fans and the company’s “chromax.black” line, followed by a few more fans and the following generation’s NH-D15 processor cooler in 2024. There will be a 60mm “slim” fan, a twenty-four volt 40 mm fan, and Noctua’s characteristic chromax.black CPU coolers — the NH-D12L, NH-D9L, and NH-L9x65 — available in 2023.
Next year promises a new 140 mm fan, NH-D15 CPU cooler, and chromax.black 14cm fan with no model connected. However, the corporation will most certainly acknowledge it, if not hint at its existence, at Computex 2023.
