RisingWings, an independent studio of KRAFTON, Inc., has made an exciting announcement regarding the early access test of their latest mobile game, “Defense Derby,” a real-time strategy defense game.

KRAFTON Begins Early Access Testing of New Title “Defense Derby”

The early access test is currently live and will continue until May 11, offering players the opportunity to participate by downloading the game from Google Play. The purpose of this test phase is to gather valuable feedback from players and make necessary improvements to ensure a high-quality experience upon the game’s official release.

To show appreciation for the Indian audience, RisingWings has curated exclusive gifts for players participating in the Early Access Testing. By taking part, players stand a chance to win rewards worth INR 700. These rewards include 2500 Crystals, 500 Gold, 500 Elixir, and 500 ManaStone.

“Defense Derby” is a captivating strategy game belonging to the Tower Defense genre, offering players a fresh level of enjoyment through intense mind games and powerful synergy effects among cards. In each round, four players receive cards through scouting and create a deck to defend their castles against monsters, striving to be the last player standing.

The early access test will continue until May 11, and interested players can download the game from Google Play to participate. This phase is crucial for gathering feedback and improving the game’s overall quality before its official launch.

“Defense Derby” introduces a new system and mode that were not available in the previous global pre-release test version. Firstly, the card acquisition method has been revised. At the beginning of each match, players receive two cards from their chosen deck, with the opportunity to obtain an additional card by defeating a boss monster.

Additionally, players can merge units during battles, introducing a strategic element to the gameplay. The early access test version also includes the “Path of Guardian,” a step-by-step growth system that serves as a milestone, offering new objectives and rewards to enhance players’ enjoyment. Progression on the “Path of Guardian” depends on derby points and league progression, granting rewards such as Hero/Unit cards, castle appearances, and unlocked content.

Another exciting mode available during the early access test is the event mode called “Derby Free Fight – Mirror Match,” where all players can engage in Derby battles using the same provided deck. This mode ensures an equal playing field, fostering thrilling mental battles between participants.

“Defense Derby” distinguishes itself with its unique scouting system, prompting players to predict their opponents’ moves and make bold strategic decisions. The game’s strategic card deployment creates various synergy effects, leading to immersive gameplay experiences and intense moments of anticipation.

Android users can download “Defense Derby” from the Google Play Store. For more information about the game and its early access test, players can visit Defense Derby’s official YouTube and Instagram channels.
