The release date for Star Trek: Resurgence has been delayed from its scheduled spring 2022 debut. Dramatic Labs has, however, finally revealed the date of release for this authorized adventure game. On May 23, Star Trek: Resurgence will be available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. However, no cost has been made public.
The team only tweeted to commemorate the day rather than releasing a new trailer of Star Trek: Resurgence.
Dramatic Labs has already made available a few gameplay videos of the game in action. Given that Dramatic Labs is made up of 20 former Telltale developers who have all worked on other licensed titles like Star Trek, including The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, The Wolf Among Us, and Batman, it makes sense that it heavily borrows from the adventure game style of that studio.

Several times, most recently in March, the resurgence has been postponed as well. The game had been moved by Dramatic Labs from spring 2022 to April 2023 and now to May 2023. During the most recent delay, there was some initial misunderstanding because some people mistook “on May 23” for May 23. The team clarified in a later tweet that it only referred to May 2023. Unintentionally or not, that turned out to be the day of the game’s release, which the account for the game cheekily noted with a GIF of Picard burying his face in his palm on Twitter.
