Later this year, Motorola will release the Razr Plus 2023. There have been rumors that the next folding clamshell phone will have a larger cover display and other significant changes. Motorola claims it will be the best folding phone they’ve ever made. The firm is also developing a more cost-effective folding phone model of the Razr.
The impending Razr Lite, as its name suggests, will be a more affordable alternative to the high-end Razr Plus 2023. The phone could also be introduced without the “Lite” designation, in which case it would be called the Motorola Razr 2023. No official information regarding the release date of the phone has been made available.
Motorola Razr Lite Design & Specs
The Razr Lite 2023 features a hole punched in the top middle of its foldable display. In addition, the display’s small bezels give us hope for a more engrossing viewing experience. A small screen can be noticed from the outside. The design renderings suggest the cover display could have some limited functionality, such as showing the time or letting the user know when they have a notice or a call.
The screen is significantly smaller than that of rival flip phones such as the Oppo Find N2 Flip and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. It appears that the upcoming Vivo X Flip sports a screen that is larger than the one on the Razr Lite 2023.
The Razr Lite 2023 has a dual camera arrangement on the cover display. Additionally, the LED flash module is positioned underneath the camera sensors. The antenna lines and curved shape of the frame point to the use of metal. It is important to note that the design representations are based on shoddy real-world images of a prototype in the testing stage. Therefore, it is probable that some details seen in these renders may vary slightly from the finished product.
As previously stated, the device could be known as the Razr Lite 2023 or simply the Razr 2023. As of the time of writing, we are unable to confirm the device’s official marketing name. Other information about the impending foldable phone from Motorola is kept under wraps.
