OnePlus Nord launched in India with Snapdragon 765G and 5G connectivity starting at Rs.24,999

OnePlus Nord is launched in India starting from Rs.24,999 and will be available in three different storage variations. The most important thing is the price point of the Nord. The company has come up with the most aggressive price range with this new type of smartphone. The OnePlus Nord will make more impact on the smartphone in India for the mid-range devices. The launch was held today evening from 7:30 pm, where the company has revealed the OnePlus Nord and the OnePlus Buds.

The OnePlus Nord will have its first sale on 4th August for two models but its base model will be available from September. OnePlus Nord has a landing page with the “Notify Me” button on it to keep you notified before the launch.

Specifications of OnePlus Nord:

OnePlus Nord has a 6.44-inch FHD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The phone has a quad rear camera where they got the main sensor from the OnePlus 8, which means the 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor with an f/1.75 lens. The phone will also have an 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.25 ultra-wide-angle lens that has a field of view (FoV) of 119 degrees, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 5MP depth shooter – both with an f/2.4 aperture. The Nightscape modes are as vibrant as the OnePlus 8. There are dual-cameras at front housed in a punch hole cut. The setup comprises a 32MP Sony IMX616 primary sensor with an f/2.45 lens and an 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.45 ultra-wide-angle lens that has an FoV of 105 degrees.

OnePlus Nord will run on Oxygen OS based on Android 10. As we all know it will feature the Snapdragon 765G processor that also supports 5G connectivity along with Adreno 620 GPU. The phone will come in three different types of storage variants where it will be available upto 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The phone will be powered by a 4,115mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging.

Price, Offers and Availability:

OnePlus Nord will have three different RAM and storage variants where the base variant is 6GB + 64GB that is priced at Rs.24,999. The base variant will be available in September, whereas, the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs.27,999 and the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs.29,999. These variants will be available in Gray Onyx and Blue Marble colour variants and will go on its first sale on 4th August in Amazon. The base variant will be available in only the Gray Onyx colour variant.

In terms of the offers, phone buyers will get Rs. 2,000 discounts with purchases made using American Express cards. Additionally, the buyers will get Rs. 6,000-worth of benefits from Reliance Jio. OnePlus Red Cable Club members will exclusively get an extended warranty and assured buyback rates, 50 GB worth of free OnePlus Cloud storage, and other third party benefits.
