Top 10 Made in India Cars in 2024 

The Indian automotive industry is growing at a rapid rate. There will be many more made-in-India cars available in 2023. After COVID-19, it was very challenging for the Indian Automotive Industries with zero sales for many brands, but in 2023, the market has seen positive growth in sales in India.

12. Maruti Suzuki Celerio 

Maruti Suzuki Celerio has secured the tenth spot in the rankings. In February 2023, Maruti Suzuki exported a total of 2,017 units. The Celerio is equipped with a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine and can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission.

11. Maruti Eritiga 

The next car on the list is Maruti Eritiga MPV. Maruti Suzuki exported a total of 2,173 units in February 2023. The MPV is powered by a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual or an Automatic. 

10. 2023 Hyundai Verna 

In other news, Hyundai India recently launched the next-gen Verna in the Indian market. The price for the next-gen Verna starts from Rs 10.90 lakh going up to 17.38 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Verna will be available in four variants – EX, S, SX, and SX(O).

9. Hyundai Verna 

Hyundai Verna is definitely another sedan on the list is Hyundai Verna. Hyundai Motor India exported a total of 2,243 units in February 2023. Hyundai Motor India has exported these cars to the Middle East, Africa, some parts of Asia, and Latin America. 

8. Maruti Suzuki Dzire  

In our list, the upcoming car is the Maruti Suzuki Dzire sedan. Maruti Suzuki exported a total of 2,352 units in February 2023. The Dzire is powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission. 

7. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios 

 Hyundai Frand i10 has got the seventh position in the list in the recently launched Hyundai Grand i10. Hyundai Motor India exported a total of 2,425 units in February 2023. The Grand i10 has been powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine and comes paired with a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission. 

6. Hyundai Creta 

Hyundai Motor India also exported a total of 3,101 units in February 2023. The Creta is offered in three engine options – a 1.5-liter NA petrol, a 1.5-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine. \

5. Kia Sonet, Seltos and Carens 

In other news, Kia India has just unveiled an update on Sonet, Seltos, and Carens. All engines are now OBD and E20 compliant. The Seltos and Carens now get 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engines. 

4. Kia Sonet  

In the list, Kia Sonel has taken fourth place as a compact SUV. Kia India exported a total of 3,117 units in February 2023. The Sonet gets three engine options – 1.0-liter petrol, 1.2-liter petrol, and a 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine. 

3. Kia Seltos  

Kia Seltos comes in third on the list is the Kia Seltos SUV. Kia India exported a total of 3,551 units in February 2023. The Seltos has got two petrol and one diesel engine options. The price for the SUV starts from Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom). 

2. Maruti Baleno  

The second car on the list is Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Maruti Suzuki exported a total of 3,552 units in February 2023. The Baleno is powered by a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine which comes with the pair either a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission. 

1. Nissan Sunny 

In this list, the first car on the list is the Nissan Sunny. It is true that the Nissan Sunny has been discontinued in the Indian market. The company manufactures in India and exports to other countries.
