Google’s Magic Eraser tool is now available for all Pixel phones and other eligible devices. The Magic Eraser feature, which can remove unwanted items from photos with a few taps, is no longer limited to Pixel phones, and people with Google One membership will also be able to use it.
Google One is the company’s cloud storage service, which provides users with up to 2TB of space for a fee. The most basic plan, with 100GB of storage space, will set you back Rs 130 per month.
Those who already have a subscription will be able to use the Magic Eraser Tool in Google Photos.
Initially, the tool was only available for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 smartphones. This feature is now available to a large number of people. Because Google’s Magic Eraser is pretty good at its job, the broader rollout of this feature means that apps that specifically remove objects in images will likely lose some user base.
You can already use the HDR effect on photos to balance dark and bright foregrounds. The HDR effect will now allow you to improve the brightness and contrast of your videos. If you use Google Photos to make collages, you’ll notice some changes here as well. Styles can now be applied to a single photo in the collage editor by all Google Photos users.
The company has confirmed that it will soon add a variety of new Styles to the collage editor for Google One members and Pixel users in order to provide users with more design options.
