Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga is having his breakout season in La Liga, and is attracting interest from some of the top clubs in the world. One of them being Spanish giants Real Madrid, who are keeping tabs on his situation.

Arsenal and Manchester United are among the other clubs circling to sign him in case an opportunity comes up. But, the appeal of Real Madrid to a Spanish born player remains unparalleled.

Gabri Veiga attracting interest from elite clubs for summer transfer

The 20-year-old started the season with the Celta Vigo B team, but eventually earned promotion to the senior side. He has become one of the most trusted players for the team, playing 22 La Liga games already.

There’s €40m release clause included in the contract of Spanish young star Gabri Veiga. Celta want to keep him — no plan to let him leave for less than the clause ⭐️🇪🇸 #LaLiga

The midfielder has scored eight goals and provided three assists, which is a remarkable return considering he isn’t an out and out attacker.

Gabri Veiga has a contract with Celta until 2026, but there is a €40 million release clause included. And considering the importance of the midfielder, the club has no intention to let him leave for less than that amount.

Real Madrid have been linked with the signature of Jude Bellingham in the summer as well. But, they will have competition in the form of Manchester City and Liverpool. Moreover, Borussia Dortmund will be expecting a record fee to let the England international leave this summer as well.

Taking that into consideration, Veiga might prove to be a cheaper alternative for Los Blancos in the summer.
