Scoring a century in the T20 format is the most difficult of the three formats of cricket. 1. IPL – Brendon McCullum
New Zealand’s player Brendon McCullum was the first batter who smashed a century in the Indian Premier League. His score was 158* against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the inaugural edition of the league.
2. BBL – David Warner
Australian batter David Warner mustered the first century in the Big Bash League on December 17, 2011. He played for Sydney Thunder which competed against the Melbourne Stars. He mustered 102* in just 51 balls.
3. PSL – Sharjeel Khan
Sharjeel Khan piled up 117 runs in 62 deliveries against Quetta Gladiators which was the first century in that tournament. He mustered 300 runs and finished as the leading run scorer in 2016.
4. CPL – Chris Gayle
Chris Gayle scored an unbeaten 111 in 63 balls in 2014 and notched up his first hundred. He was playing for Tallahwahs, scoring this big number against Zouks.
5. T20 Blast – Ian Harvey
In 2003, Australian all-rounder Ian Harvey notched up his first-ever century in t20 cricket while he played for Gloucestershire. His score was an unbeaten 100 in 50 balls that consisted of 13 fours and 4 sixes.
6. BPL – Chris Gayle
Chris Gayle scored 101* in 44 balls in the Bangladesh Premiere league. His team, Barishal Burners, played against the Sylhet Royals on February 10, 2012.
7. LPL – Laurie Evans
In 2020, English cricketer Laurie Evans smashed 108 runs in just 65 balls in the Lanka Premiere League. With the help of his century, his team Colombo Kings, won by six runs over the Jaffna Stallions.
8. ILT20 – Alex Hales
Alex Hales notched up a ton in ILT20 as he scored 110 runs in just 59 deliveries against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. He smashed seven fours and six sixes that helped his team Desert Vipers win by a huge margin of 111 runs.
9. SA20 – Faf du Plessis
Faf du Plessis scored a ton in the SA20 league in just 54 runs recently Joburg Super Kings won the game by 8 wickets against Durban Super Giants. It was the 22nd match of SA20 at the Wanderers.
