An SoC called the Exynos 2400 will be found in South Korean Galaxy S24 models. Market competition for premium smartphones is still raging at full throttle. Despite the market’s abundance of models from numerous brands, US technology giant Apple consistently outperforms its rivals.

The primary explanation for this is that the business provides a superior experience using its own software and hardware. Samsung, which has been doing a comparative study for a long, appears to have finally found success in the hardware sector. It’s possible that the company’s chipset for the Samsung S24 series, which will be available next year, has already been revealed. These specifics are…

Exynos 2400 other details

Mass manufacture of the Exynos 2400 CPU from Samsung MX, which will use Samsung’s 4LPP node, is reportedly approved and will start later this year. Vampire King, a South Korean tipster, claims that the Exynos 2400 (codenamed Root) will power South Korean versions of the S24 next year and will include a quad-cluster architecture with a total of 10 cores.

Four Cortex-A510 cores, a prime Cortex-X4 core, two clusters of Cortex-A720 cores, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2’s quad-cluster architecture are rumoured to be used in the Exynos 2400. The actual number of Cortex-A720 cores and the overall number of CPU cores, however, are not known with any certainty. It will reportedly contain eight CPU cores (1+4+3), according to one report, while 1+2+3+4 reports ten cores.

It is significant to note that the Exynos 2400 is not the processor created by Samsung’s “Dream Team” specifically for the Galaxy. According to rumours, that SKU is set for the S24 and will go into mass production in 2024, likely as a competitor to the Nuvia cores in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.

The upcoming S24 model in South Korea will be powered by the Exynos 2400, which suggests that Samsung is seeking to break from its previous practice of employing Snapdragon CPUs in its top devices. The fact that Samsung has not yet confirmed these rumours should be noted, therefore all of this should be treated with caution.
