Galaxy Book 3 series Expected Specifications and Everything You Need to Know
At the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event that is to be held on February 1st, we are yet to see the launch of the new Galaxy S23 series alongside Samsung’s Galaxy Book 3 series of laptops. While the specs of the S23 series have already been leaked along with their design and almost every minute detail has surfaced, not many specs are known about the Galaxy Book 3 laptops.
Samsung has been back into the laptop market since last year by launching its Galaxy Book 2 series worldwide including in India as well. Boasting Samsung’s quality AMOLED display, 12th Gen Intel processors alongside sleek & fascinating design and a good ecosystem of Samsung, these Galaxy Book 2 laptops were really an attractive prospect.
So, this time too Samsung had been waiting for Intel to announce its new 13th Gen mobile processors at CES 2023 and now is all set to launch five new laptops under its new Galaxy Book 3 series: Samsung Galaxy Book 3, Galaxy Book 3 360, Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Galaxy Book 3 360 and finally a new Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.
Here we will talk about the entire Galaxy Book 3 series and expected specifications leaked by tipster Ishan alongside Mysmartprice:
Samsung Galaxy Book 3 series Expected Specifications
Stacking up the entry-level Galaxy Book 3 series, you will have the base Samsung Galaxy Book 3 and Galaxy Book 3 360 with screen size of 15.6-inch. Whereas the Galaxy Book 3 Pro laptops will be available in both 14-inch and 16-inch configurations, on the other hand, the flagship Book 3 Pro 360 and Book 3 Ultra will feature only 16-inch variants.
Featuring a 16-inch Super AMOLED display, you expect a 3K (2880 x 1800 pixel) resolution, making the laptop stunning, expecting a 16:10 aspect ratio as usual. The new Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 laptop will be powered by 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1340P and i7-1360P processors, qualified for Intel Evo platform.
In terms of RAM and storage, you will get up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and latest 1TB NVMe SSD PCIE Gen4 storage, in terms of raw performance, expect same specs on the base Galaxy Book 3 and Book 3 360 as well. On the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, you are supposed to get a quad-speaker setup tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos support as well. Preloaded with Windows 11 Home and 76WHr battery, you should expect good battery life as well.
While the 16-inch Galaxy Book 3 Pro 16-inch model is supposed to weigh 1.6 kg and have only 13mm thickness, the 14-inch variant will sport 63Whr battery, have only 11mm thickness, also being the lightest, just 1.2kg. In terms of charging all these Galaxy Book 3 laptops will support 65W fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra
The new flagship laptop in the Galaxy Book 3 series will be the new Galaxy Book 3 Ultra that will have beefier hardware and big display to flaunt. As already discussed this Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will sport a 16-inch 3K (2880 x 1800 pixel) AMOLED touch display, alongside that the laptop will be on the heavier side, weighing 1.8kg and having a 17mm thickness.
This is mostly due to amped up hardware, thanks to new Intel Core i9-13900H, that sports 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores, taking the core count up to 14 cores. Having a max boost clock speed of up to 5.40 GHz for the P-cores, the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will no doubt be a performer, accompanied with up to 32 GB LPDDR5 RAM and fastest 1TB NVMe SSD PCIE Gen4 storage.
The best part is that this flagship Samsung 2023 laptop will boast the latest NVIDIA RTX 4070 GDDR6 8GB discrete laptop graphics, making it deadly for both productivity and gaming as well. The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will sport the same bigger 76Whr battery and can be fast-charged with 136W power adapter.
More details will be soon shared by Samsung at the launch event on 1st February and hopefully we will see the price reveal of both new Samsung laptops and S23 series, expect these new laptops going on sale via Amazon. See Amazon India teaser page: https://amzn.to/3XIxhB0
