Anwar Ali is set to join ATK Mohun Bagan from FC Goa in the summer transfer window. The player was on loan for two seasons from Delhi FC during the start of the 2021/22 season, and his next destination is now set.
The player will be signing a four-year contract, with the salary expected to be in the region of Rs 11 crore. Per year, the salary will be of 2 crore, and the paperwork is pending for the move to go through. ATKMB are also expected to pay a transfer fee to sign the centre-back.

The defender was banned from playing football professionally by the AIFF, after he was diagnosed with apical hypercardiomyopathy in 2019. But, he fought through the rare heart disease and is now an important player for the Gaurs.
After moving to court for getting clearance, he joined Techtro Swades United before signing for Delhi FC. Anwar Ali was one of the standout performers for them during their Durand Cup run in 2021, scoring four goals.
During the ongoing season, Anwar Ali has played 14 times, scoring one goal and providing two assists. And it will be interesting to see how the rest of the season, and his tenure at ATK Mohun Bagan plays out.
