The Dead Space Twitter account has revealed the two distinct graphical modes available to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players. Choose between eye candy and a lower framerate, or choose slightly less eye candy at 60FPS. Motive and EA developers revealed what kind of graphical settings you will be able to select.
You can play Dead Space in Quality mode at 30FPS but at 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled. Alternatively, the Performance mode will run at 60FPS with a resolution of 2K (1440p) and no ray tracing.
It should be noted that, while not explicitly stated, these target framerates and resolutions are most likely for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. When compared to the Series X, the Xbox Series S will run at lower resolutions. Other graphical settings on the less powerful Xbox console may also be reduced.
