India was chasing a target of 207 runs but ultimately fell short of 16 runs. The top-order failed but a run stand of 91 between Axar Patel and Suryakumar Yadav kept the hopes alive. Earlier, Dasun Shanaka from Sri Lanka mustered an unbeaten 56 off 22 deliveries and Kusal Mendis smashed 52 off 31 balls. Among the Indian bowlers, Umran Malik shined as he gave 58 runs in four overs but scalped three wickets. Both the teams have one match each and the last one will decide the winner.
