As per the sources, the richest guy in the world has reportedly launched a war on the biggest tech business in the world. In a series of tweets, Elon Musk accused Apple of monopolistic behavior and censorship, asserting that the corporation “largely halted” advertising on Twitter and raising the possibility that Cook, Apple’s CEO, “hates free expression in America.”
All-out War against Apple
The following tweets describe the current situation:
Elon Musk and Apple
When Insider contacted Apple for a response about Musk’s tweets, they did not do so right away. Elon Musk also criticized Apple’s 30% cut of most sales made through the company’s App Store, tweeting a picture of a highway sign offering the choice to “Pay 30%” or “Go to War,” with a car opting for the latter.
The 30% App Store fee is the topic of an ongoing legal dispute between ‘Fortnite’ video game developer Epic Games and the tech behemoth, which has been criticized by numerous smaller businesses.
Musk has already criticized Apple’s App Store, so this is nothing new. Musk claimed in May that the 30% fee was actually ten times too high. But Monday’s assaults intensify the conflict between Musk and Cook. Musk hasn’t shied away from criticizing other well-known billionaires; in the past, he’s tweeted his disapproval of people like Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates.
