Intel Raptor Lake Core i9-13900HK CPU benchmark surfaces on Geekbench with some amazing scores

The forthcoming top mobile processor from the Raptor Lake family is the Core i9-13900HK. The identical Samsung machine appears to have been used to test the chip once more using Geekbench software.

According to Intel specifications, this 14-core, 20-thread SKU will allegedly have a boost speed of 5.36 GHz, or perhaps 5.4 GHz. When boosted to its maximum speed of 5.0 GHz, the Core i9-12900HK would be 400 MHz slower.

The Core i9-13900HK CPU’s main benefit might be its higher clock.

It appears that the Core i9-13900HK does not feature a larger L2 cache than desktop Raptor Lake components, which suggests that we may be looking at an updated Alder Lake-P silicon. It might, however, be too early to know.

In the single-core Geekbench V5 test, the Core i9-13900HK received 1870 points. This is 3% more than the previous instance. In addition, the multi-core score rose by 5%. (12436 points). Even yet, the HK and HX varieties of the top 12th-Gen Core parts still perform better.

Unfortunately, Geekbench is no longer officially ranking any of the 12th Gen Core “Alder Lake-H” processors. The scores are so similar that the difference is virtually within the margin of error because almost the whole high-end Intel mobile portfolio has 14 cores or more.

Eventually, a real Raptor Lake dies with all 16 Efficient cores enabled and will be available for the laptop series as well. There is no doubt it would significantly improve multi-core performance. However, for the time being, the differences between 13th Gen and 12th Gen H-series CPUs appear to be negligible.
