India Capitals defeated Bhilwara Capitals in the finale to lift the cup at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium on Wednesday. The Capitals were led by Gautam Gambhir and made a good recovery after getting all out early to post 211/7 in 20 overs. The Kings were under high pressure and got all out by 107 in just 18.2 overs.

Ross Taylor and Mitchell Johnson were the main men behind the success of the Capitals. Taylor scored 82 off 41 deliveries while Johnson mustered 62 off 35 deliveries. The Kings, on the other hand, didn’t have a good partnership with their batters.

Bhilwara Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first but the decision didn’t turn out well for them. India Capitals thrashed Bhilwara Kings in the finale by 104 runs and won the second edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC). Bhilwara Kings were chasing a target of 212 runs but got all out at 107 runs. From the Capitals, Ross Taylor and Michell Johnson scored individual fifties and helped the team reach 211 for seven in 20 overs. The top order failed to perform as skipper Gautam Gambhir was dismissed in the very first over by Monty Panesar. Rahul Sharma scalped two wickets in the second over and put the Capitals in a very unstable situation. Panesar bagged his second wicket dismissing Dwayne Smith. Ross Taylor mustered 82 runs and Mitchell Johnson scored 62. They added 126 runs for the fifth wicket which gave India Capitals a very strong total. Ashley Nurse added the finishing touch by scoring 42 runs in 19 balls. From the Bhilwara Kings, Shane Watson was the top scorer with 27 runs.
