Jude Bellingham captained Borussia Dortmund in their Bundesliga game against Koln aged just 19 years old. The midfielder was given the armband following an injury to club captain Marco Reus, and Mats Hummels being ruled out due to injury.
The game presented a chance for the black and yellow club to go to the top of the table. However, they were defeated 3-2 by Koln, and were denied any points at all.

This is yet another milestone for the youngster, and will be an important aspect for other clubs to consider. Especially since he is expected to be on the move next summer. And in three seasons with the German side, he has shown enough to be one of the best young talents in the world.
“He’s someone who leads from the front. He didn’t get it for free — he worked for it,” coach Edin Terzic told Sky.
“It does not matter how old he is or how long he’s been with us. He represents much of what we want to see on the pitch.
“That’s why he absolutely deserves it.”
Reigning champions Bayern Munich picked up a dominant 4-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen. And they are now level on points with Dortmund, at 15. On the other hand, Freiburg and Union Berlin are level at the top with 17 points each.
