Google Photos is about to push the largest upgrade to Memories since the feature’s launch in 2020. Google notes that Memories receives more than 3.5 billion views monthly, proving its popularity.

Google Photos’ new immersive experience

The design of Memories has changed to make them more dynamic. Videos have received a lot of attention, and Photos will now only display clips from lengthier videos. So, all credit goes to automatic, unobtrusive zooming-in or out features. So, photos in Memories are now more immersive. Additionally, sharing a Memory with another Photos user is now possible. In the coming months, there will be the ability to share a Memory via a Web link and to iOS.

Google points out that you can still decide to remove certain people or historical events from your Memories’ collection of images.

Through Cinematic photographs, Google Photos creates a moving 3D model of your image and will render full end-to-end videos with Cinematic photos, which is another method to make your Memories more dynamic.

The new Collage editor is a welcome addition. Finally, you can change the grid, reposition the photographs, and even select a background for your collages. Google calls this feature Styles, and it comes in a variety of designs at launch.

This update is not too far, you all will be receiving this update anytime soon.
