Acer has a good record in the past of making great budget laptops and in this Coronavirus outbreak when a study from home and work from home trends are going on, Acer has stepped up with a new entry-level laptop. Its new Acer One 14 laptop powered by Intel processors has been priced at just Rs. 22,999, making it an ideal choice for entry-level users.
Apart from launching the new budget-end Veriton N series mini PCs, Acer also announced the Acer One 14, featuring a 14-inch display, without any details about the panel or resolution but most probably it will an HD TN panel. It is powered by the dual-core Intel Pentium gold 4415U processor with hyperthreading enabled and having 2.30 GHz base clock speed.
The processor features 2 MB Intel smart cache with 15W TDP. It comes coupled with 4GB of DDR4 RAM, expandable memory up to 32GB. For graphics, there’s the Intel HD Graphics 610 iGPU with up to 950 MHz max frequency.
The laptop features an HD webcam with microphone along with Bluetooth or WiFi support on the connectivity front. For ports, we have a Gigabit LAN port, 2 USB 3.0 ports, and 1 USB 2.0 port. It comes with Windows 10 pre-installed and Acer promises up to 4 hours of battery life. With the Acer One 14, the company targets all the students, small-businesses and for entry-level workloads.
The Acer One 14 entry-level laptop will be costing Rs. 22,999 onwards and will be available through Acer’s online store and via 1500 Acer channel partner stores across India. One great thing about the laptop is that Acer is providing 3 years of warranty.
