Renewal of Gavi’s Contract

There are a few issues that need to be rectified, but they won’t be until the player becomes 18 because until then, Gavi isn’t allowed to sign contracts longer than four years.

Gavi turned 18 on August 5, but Barcelona has not yet formally announced that he has renewed his contract. Though he can still play first-team games, he is still registered with the B squad despite expectations that he will join the official first team for 2022–2023.
