The Asia Cup 2022 is set to start on August 27 and the final match to be played on September 11. India will face its arch-rivals on Sunday, August 28. The Indian squad will be led by Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to make a comeback in international cricket after being on a break. Pakistan will be led by Babar Azam.

Ravindra Jadeja is the first player to show a glimpse of the Indian jersey.

This new jersey got revealed for Asia Cup 2022 which will be played in the UAE on August 27. The name of the tournament is also written on the jerseys. The Indian team’s jersey is blue in colour and Asia Cup 2022 logo is also visible on the team jersey. There are three stars on this jersey. However, apart from Jadeja no other cricketer could be seen sporting the jersey.

India will be facing Pakistan in the first match as stated before and in the second match, they’ll play against Hong Kong on August 31. The squad already started practicing on Wednesday after they reached Dubai. The photos and videos have already been viral on Social Media.

Meanwhile, BCCI has appointed VVS Laxman as the interim head coach of the Indian team for the Asia Cup since the head coach of the team Rahul Dravid has tested positive for Covid-19 and couldn’t fly to UAE.

Babar Azam who’ll lead the Pakistan team has released the picture of its new jersey. The Pakistani skipper can be seen wearing the jersey along with the other team members.
