After several controversies, Maharani’s season 2 teaser has been launched with some glimpse of the fight between Huma Qureshi’s character of a chief minister Rani Bharti, also her husband Bheema Bharti performed by Sohum Shah.
The teaser of the second season of political drama Maharani was launched by the streaming platform SonyLIV on Saturday. In the teaser, we have seen the first look of the protagonist Rani Bharti having combat with her husband and predecessor Bheema Bharti.
Maharani (Season 2): Plot
The teaser of the series begins with former chief minister Bheema Bharti free from prison with a bearded look. He holds political rallies, one remote through a mobile phone and keeping next on to the mic, and blames his wife Rani for the current situation. He has promised his followers as he will not be able to lie down and also shifts to Rani who has gotten into the car. She finds the camera and quiets all the noise around her.
The first season of Maharani revealed Rani taking over the responsibility of the chief minister after Bheema got a stroke. The series exposed how the political inexperience Rani has learned to become aware of her surroundings, and become a seasoned politician just adept and handling the machinations around her through the opposition with her own party members.
Maharani (Season 2): Cast
The second season has been directed by Ravindra Gautam, maharani includes Subhas Kapor and Nadan Singh serving as the showrunners and writers. The series also features Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Inaamulhaq, Dibyendu Bhattachary, Kani Kasturi, Anuja Sathe, Pramod Pathak, Vinet Kumar, and Ravindra Gautam. The second season will stream on SonyLiv. There is no such official release date confirmed by the series.
