Barcelona are in a financial crisis as they failed to renew the contract of their club legend Lionel Messi last season. New club president Joan Laporta has been somewhat successful in correcting their finances but still, Barca are facing problems in registering their new signings.
The club has today announced the signing of Raphinha from Premier League side Leeds United. According to journalist Gerard Moreno, Raphinha will earn £5.2million-per-year at Barca, which works out to £100,000-per-week.
