Tottenham have confirmed their squad for their pre-season tour in Korea. And with the announcement, we have been given a fair picture of the players that are to be a part of Antonio Conte’s team for the coming season.
Joe Rodon has missed out on the tour due to illness, while Clement Lenglet is without the necessary documentation to make the trip. As a result, he will be linking up with the rest of the squad later. Alfie Devine and Dane Scarlett have been given an extended period off due to their involvement in England’s Euro U19 win.
Tottenham confirm pre-season squad with notable absentees
Harry Winks, Sergio Reguilón, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele have been frozen out of the squad. As a result, it seems like their involvement for the coming season will be kept to a minimum by Antonio Conte. The Italian is quite rigid about his team selection, and as a result, it is unlikely that we will be seeing these names staying beyond the summer.
Sergio Reguilón is quite a surprising inclusion on the list, but he has been sidelined in favour of Ryan Sessegnon. As a result, the former Real Madrid man might be on his way out of Tottenham after a relatively brief spell.
Giovanni Lo Celso is expected to return to Villarreal, but an agreement has not yet been finalised between the two clubs. The transfers of Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Winks have not yet been discussed at length, and will develop in the coming weeks.
