In these ongoing Geeked Week events, Netflix has released the first teaser trailer of Wednesday, the highly anticipated spin-off series based on The Addams Family featuring Jenna Ortega in the titular role. The series was created by the king of creepiness, The Burton, and also inspired by the iconic characters made by cartoonist Charles Addams.
In the new teaser, we can see Ortega braiding her hair into the shadows just before the town star comes into the light and looks so mean like someone. Ortega utilizes a black and white dress and also has her nails just painted black and also just reinforcing that ghoulish look of the character.
As soon as Ortega’s Wednesday got revealed, Thing disembodies the hand and walks on her shoulder just like a morbid pet. After that, both Thing and Ortega make a snap with fingers two times, and also just nod into the iconic The Addams Family song as we all know.
Now, the latest spin-off series just follow Wednesday as she is trying to survive school when she starts honing with ger such paranormal abilities. The new series just promises to tell such a story that based on Wednesday, the show will also feature many of the other important members of the Addams Family along with Catherine Zera-Jones playing her mother Morticia Addams, Luis Guzman appears to play the role of her father Gomez Addams, and Isaac Ordonez as Wednesday’s younger brother Pugsley.
The story of the series is about a young adult show by Netflix which means we will have that right blend of dread and drama to satisfy the fans that are not much into the horror.
