Samsung‘s next-generation foldable device is here, the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip4 have successfully passed the 3C certification tests. This was originally reported by IT House on the 7th of May that these two foldable are arriving soon.
Now, the two models have passed the 3C Industry certification of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The models arrive with the numbers SM-F9360 and SM-F7210.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4/Fold4 will arrive with support for 25W charging:
As per the 3C certification site, we know have knowledge that both phones support up to 25W charging. As per information released by whistleblower Ross Young, the new Galaxy Z Flip4 will prioritize being a compact device that will weigh less, however, it is different from its predecessors.
In this generation of Samsung Flip phones, we will see the device be available in gold, gray, light blue, and light purple colors. The Galaxy Z Fold4 on the other hand will come in beige, black, and gray.
The display on the Galaxy Z Flip4 will be larger and its outer panel will measure 2 inches. The device is in accordance with the ongoing trends of devices being large screened and the final product is also very aesthetically appealing.
Going by previous reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ chip that is based on TSMC’s 4nm process, the chip will retain the ‘1+3+4’ three-cluster architecture design, and the super core is the Cortex A2 that comes with powerful performance.
In addition to this, the machines have two built-in batteries, one with a capacity of 2,400mAh and the other with a capacity of 903mAh. The typical total battery capacity is 3,400mAh, which is 100mAh more than the previous generation Galaxy Z Flip3.
Samsung was rumored to launch three foldable devices this year codenamed B1, Q4, and N4. The first two are a reference to the Galaxy Z Flip4 and the Z Fold4 as their predecessors were both codenamed B3 and Q3, the N4 on the other hand will be a totally new device.
The N4 is likely to be Samsung’s first scroll-screen device or the three-fold Galaxy Fold that has appeared in the news numerous times in the past year.
