Motorola is holding an “E-vent” on April 22, which is an online event, where it is going to launch the flagship series – Motorola Edge series. The series is said to have two smartphones – Motorola Edge and Edge+. The Edge+ will come with an eye-soothing Waterfall Display, flagship chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon, an extraordinary camera, etc.
The official tweet shared by Motorola doesn’t indicate much about the device except the waterfall display.
The Moto Edge+ will come with a 6.67′ FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. the processor chipset will be Snapdragon 865. There will be a 108MP primary sensor among triple(108MP +16MP +8MP)-rear camera sensors. The 8MP sensor can be a telephoto camera module. Most interestingly the smartphone doesn’t come with a quad-camera setup and we are not sure about the megapixel of the front camera and the battery capacity. The smartphone will support 5G. This will be the first smartphone from Motorola with both 90Hz display and 5G connectivity unless we count in the 5G MotoMod of the Moto Z3.
The vanilla Moto Edge may also launch in the same event and will come with a smaller display. It is still not clear if the smartphone will feature a waterfall display. This version will come with a 64MP primary sensor unlike the 108MP sensor in the Edge+, other sensors will be the same as the later. The Moto Edge will come with Snapdragon 756G which will also support 5G.
