Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has outlined the one key condition that the club needs to match to bring in new players in the summer.
On top of the free departures of Gareth Bale, Isco and Marcelo, Real Madrid will need to sell some of their players if they are to invest in newer talent. The likes of Takefusa Kubo, Reinier Jesus and Brahim Diaz are all out on loan right now. And their spells could be made permanent in the summer, which would help Los Blancos recruit the three key players they want.
The trio that Real Madrid have their eyes on won’t come cheap
PSG star Kylian Mbappe is the primary transfer target for the summer. He will be leaving the club on a free if he decides to switch clubs. And as a result, his signing is the most important for Perez and his club at the end of the season.
Erling Haaland’s €80 million release clause and massive agent fees makes it a little difficult to sign him in the summer. However, Madrid are one of the frontrunners to sign the Norwegian from Borussia Dortmund even though they don’t consider him as essential as Mbappe.
The last of the three is Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco. The defensive midfielder has been making a name for himself in Ligue 1, and has outlined Real Madrid as his favourite destination. But, without the sale of some players in the squad right now, it will be difficult to see these new faces at the Bernabeu.
